(at another time, arthur wanted to cross-out his image.)

(arthur remembers thinking that he felt his face was boring.)

(it's humiliating to be the same person every day.)

(the make-up never helped.  arthur died at the age of 47.)

improvisation and order.  i have no patience with order.  you can see.

September 7, 2013

garfield entered the asylum yesterday.  he rants.

maybe we should be quieter.

September 6, 2013

people can be made to talk.  was my phone talking too?

i wonder

if they were listening to me.

i know kazan never talked without a rapt audience.

he could spend the rest of his life

remembering what he shouldn't have said.

like rossen.  not like polonsky.  not like wolfert.

at the tone, the time will be 7:23 and one quarter.

i don't trust glass.  i have to touch it.  it's a devious liquid.

the rain makes me  feel melancholy.  lovely.  intoxicated.

September 3, 2013

i've been taking baths.  hot to warm.  i don't move.

there is a lovely woman who walks by.  she may be a bit off.

September 2, 2013

arthur, can we leave this?  changing faces is becoming dull.

i don't believe that we can leave this.

after the shock.  we can go to the house.  we can escape.

escape from the asylum?  and after that?  we glide.  we pass through.  that is what we do.

didn't someone say that the windows of a house

are it's eyes?

and that the eyes

are the windows of the soul?

oh i don't know...

it is a such a lovely thought.

i do hope someone expressed it.
