 the ship contacted the authorities.

when darkness fell, they called off the search.
tomorrow is another day.

1948.  i am so tired.  i reject the future.  i resist the idea.

i do like the present.

and i love looking back.  the e shadow from the window sign.

but arthur, in your case...

utopianism is dead.  long live utopianism.

context and timing are everything.  aren't they?

look how old, how young, open or closed... all the interactions, the moments...

moments spent close together are timeless and all context.
each of us expanding from a common hinge.

of course there is tension.  change too.  without these everything is nothing.

we will not remain unchanged, especially if we know what's good for us.

what do we make of all the connections?

June 11, 2014

i see you,  chantal.  you see the darkness

in this life.  i do see the darkness.

that boy mind reader.  arthur must part with him.

quiet now.  listen...

there is the horn playing in marktkirche church.  the one with the pentagram.

charmed.  that was the crack i  always wait for.  1948.

June 9, 2014

after all, last night i danced

on the heads of monsters.  arthur was there to see it.  1948.

June 5, 2014

lend me your ear.  i will play you a tune.

1948 / st. louis / to the blue hotel, next to the yellow one.

June 4, 2014

you were the one who saw beauty in the prosaic.

i never had faith in the-run-of-the-mill.

June 3, 2014

someone is always watching.  i will clean my glass anyway,

so that the night air clings to the inside.

June 2, 2014

1948.  st. louis.  the blue hotel.  i missed

my third step, and the man

at the counter took his hand off of his chin.

the man was not aware of you.  he was an american telling war stories.
